There is a bi-monthly newsletter sent to all members via e-mail and posted on the various notice boards around the club. There are also regular e-mail alerts and posters when an event is being organised. It pays to look at the notice boards every time you visit the club.

Dress code - Proper tennis clothing should be worn including the correct type of footwear. The courts were expensive to install and there is ongoing maintenance cost. Players not wearing appropriate clothing are likely to be asked to leave the courts. We also ask members to carry their membership cards with them at all times.

There is currently no pre-booking system for social play. We have successfully operated a 'turn up and play' policy for a number of years. At peak periods when others are waiting players are expected to complete their set (tie breaks should be played at 5 games all) and come off allowing others to play. In those circumstances those players coming off can wait for the next available court.

In particularly congested periods of (usually winter when some of the courts are shut) players are also asked to write their starting time on the chalk boards near the notice boards.

Members can play with non-members, but we would ask you to collect a £3.00 visitors fee and pass the money over to a committee member. Guests are limited to 3 visits per year.
