General Information 2
Page One Next PageFlood lighting - There is no charge for the use of floodlights (the cost is built into the membership fees). The floodlights for the astro courts can be switched on in the cupboards on the path running alongside the lower courts.
The floodlights for the clay courts can be switched on in the boxes adjacent to the entrance gate nearest the garage. We would ask members to turn off the lights when they have finished their match and if no one is waiting.
The lights will automatically go off at around 10pm, as this is a local requirement from the council. Unfortunately if they are not actually switched off at that time they will re-ignite in the afternoon and we will go on to a higher electricity tariff.
Access to the clay courts is via a combination lock. You can obtain the current combination no from any of the coaches & ground staff. Members are required to sweep the clay courts after use. It is both polite to the next users and helps us maintain the courts in good condition.
