Members can check availability using Clubspark. Non-Members can use Pay & Play: £10/hr for outside courts, £15/hr for bubble courts. 

*Floodlight charges apply after 5pm during winter months

Courts

5 Floodlit Astro Courts; 3 Floodlit Hard/Bubble Courts; 6 Grass Courts; 2 NEW floodlit artificial clay courts.

Floodlight/Bubble Charges

Outdoor Court Floodlights are now chargeable after 5pm – 50p per 30 mins. 

Bubble courts are now chargeable at all times – £1 per 30 mins.

**The cancellation period is 4 hours prior to the booking to receive an automated refund.**

Tennis rules

  • Objective: Hit the ball over the net into the opponent’s court.
  • Scoring: Points go 15, 30, 40, and game. Win by two points.
  • Court: Rectangular, divided by a net.
  • Sets and Matches: Best of 3 or 5 sets. Win a set by winning 6 games with a 2-game lead.
  • Tiebreaker: Played at 6-6. First to 7 points with a 2-point lead wins.
  • Serving: Serve diagonally into the service box.
  • Rallies: Continue until a player misses, hits out, or faults.

 

  • Foot Fault: Server steps over the baseline.
  • Double Fault: Two consecutive faulty serves.
  • Net Fault: Ball hits the net on serve and lands outside.
  • Singles vs. Doubles: Singles use narrower court; doubles use full court.
  • In and Out: Ball must land on or within boundary lines.
  • During Play: Yes, as long as it lands in the opponent’s court.
  • On Serve: If it hits the net and lands in the service box, it’s a “let” and retaken.
  • Serve: Ball hits net but lands in service box; serve again.
  • Play: No “let” during rallies; ball remains in play.

Side Change: After every odd-numbered game to balance conditions.

  • Ace: Unreturnable serve.
  • Deuce: 40-40 score; need two points to win.
  • Advantage: Point after deuce; win next point to take the game.
